In '88 trekt Green als straatmuzikant de wereld in. Kille straathoeken wereldwijd, maar ook roemruchte podia als CBGB’s in
New York, het zijn de ideale speelplekken voor de Nederlander in deze roerige jaren. In 1992 keert hij gemangeld terug en brengt zijn 1e soloalbum uit.
25 jaar en 9 albums later is het Green gelukt zich bij de absolute top van de Nederlandse liedjesschrijvers te vestigen.
